| Henderson Helps Mustangs Run Win Streak to 3 | The San Marin Mustangs downed the Canby Lancers, 12-4, at Silvertips Ballpark. Mark Henderson led the way, going 3-for-4 for San Marin. Danny Dominguez got the win, improving to 6-1. He worked 8 innings, giving up 4 runs on 11 hits, while striking out 12 and walking 1. San Marin has now won 3 in a row.
Chad Johnson helped out the San Marin cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the catcher drove in one run.
"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Henderson told the San Marin Gazette. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
