| Dale Slugs Indians to 8-3 Win | The Enterprise Hornets and Jefferson Indians brought some excitement to Oranges Ballpark.
The Jefferson Indians knocked off the Enterprise Hornets, 8-3, at Oranges Ballpark. Dawson Dale, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Jefferson won. The third baseman went 2-2 with 2 home runs and 3 walks, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 3. With the win, Jefferson goes to 17-23, while the Hornets fall to 21-19.
When the Indians needed a boost, it was the light-hitting Dale who delivered. Facing Enterprise pitcher John Drucker the top of the second with a runner on 1st, Dale hit his 6th home run of the year. It made the score 3-0.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Dale.
