| Warhawks Stun Navigators, 4-3 | The Norwich Navigators got a superb performance from pitcher Kyle Papandrea. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Seminole. The Warhawks won the game, 4-3. In spite of the loss, Papandrea was named the player of the game. He threw 8 innings of 3-hit ball. Manny Cormier picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-0. He struck out 7 in 9 innings. Seminole has now won 3 in a row.
The Warhawks were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when designated hitter Tim Britton turned a full count splitter from Wayne Brereton into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent a roar through the crowd and gave Seminole a thrilling 4-3 win.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Britton said after the game.
