| Tigers Roll Over Chargers, 9-4 | The Tioga Central Tigers overcame a good performance by Topeka West right fielder John Schroeder to knock off Topeka West, 9-4, at Breakers Ballpark. Schroeder went 4-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Tigers bumped their record to 21-17 with this latest triumph.
Zach Sharp, who is tied for 2nd in the PRL in doubles with 15, aided the Tioga Central cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh. For the game, the designated hitter went 2 for 5 with a double.
"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Sharp said in reaction to the win.
