| Poly Fall to .500 After Loss to Panthers | Getting a good performance from first baseman Tom Narog, the Pleasantville Panthers defeated the Riverside Poly, 11-8. Narog went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Panthers. Greg Sutherland, who went 6 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 5 runs on 8 hits, while walking 7 and striking out 4. His record now stands at 1-7. Even with the win, the Panthers have a dismal 12-26 record.
The Panthers got a big at-bat from center fielder Ryan Adelson. For the game, Adelson was 1-4 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
