| Hornets Bang Out 7-1 Win Versus Riverside | Enterprise starter Justin Pemberton pitched effectively against the Riverside Poly at Oranges Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a 7-1 win. Pemberton, the winner, moves to 2-4. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 6 walks. Picking up the save was Yo Zhào, his 2nd.
Scott DeRoin, who is the top prospect in the Hornets organization, aided the Enterprise cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the catcher was 2-5 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Pemberton.
The Hornets bumped their record to 20-17 with this latest triumph.
