| G.o.D. Stay Hot, Beat Islanders | The Tonga G.o.D. downed the Hawaii Islanders, 7-6, at Isle of Destiny. Jose Macias led the way, going 1-for-3 for Tonga. Tonga, now 6-4, has gotten their season off to a good start.
Macias contributed a big hit, a 2-run triple, for Tonga in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 4-3, Macias took a fastball from Ehrich Weiss and stroked the triple to right. His 2nd triple of the season allowed the G.o.D. to leap in front, 5-4.
"We found a way to get it done," Macias said.
