| Indians Get Road Win, 8-5 | The Jefferson Indians faced a tough opponent in Pleasantville pitcher Nate McClure, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Stealth Ballpark by a final score of 8-5. McClure went 0 innings and allowed no earned runs. With the win, Jefferson has a record of 15-21. Pleasantville falls to 10-26.
Jefferson used the bat of Alex Torres to get the win. The first baseman hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the second inning to put the Indians ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it did its damage.
"We maximized our offense today," said Jefferson skipper Kris Frederick. "That makes everyone's life easier."
