| Henry Stars for Hornets in 8-5 Win | The Enterprise Hornets trumped the Riverside Poly, 8-5, at Oranges Ballpark. Enterprise left fielder Dave Henry was named player of the game for his performance. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 4 times and drove in 2. Frank Chmielewski got the win, improving to 3-1. He worked 5.1 innings, giving up 1 run on 4 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 6. Ted Bernabei earned the save for Enterprise, his 1st.
Bryan Fox aided the Enterprise cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the second baseman was 1-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Henry. "And not try to do too much."
The Hornets bumped their record to 19-17 with this latest triumph.
