| Panthers Turn Back Downsview, 5-3 | The Derby Panthers picked up a win at Visigoths Stadium, knocking off the Downsview Mustangs, 5-3. On the mound for Derby was right-hander Mike Wadleigh, who played a pivotal role in the win. Wadleigh went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 5, and struck out 8. His record improves to 2-5. Adam Carter picked up the save for Derby, his 1st of the year.
