| Panthers Edge Warhawks, 2-1 | The Pitman High Panthers got a stellar performance from pitcher John Keeton, who handcuffed the Seminole offense en route to a 2-1 win at Attack Ballpark. Keeton went 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 4, and struck out 9. His record improves to 3-4. Even with the win, the Panthers have a dismal 12-23 record.
The Panthers got a big at-bat from right fielder Bob Shaner. For the game, Shaner was 1-5 with a double. In the top of the seventh, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 5th double of the season gave Pitman High a 2-1 lead.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Keeton said after the game.
