| Poly Get Road Win, 5-3 | Norwich center fielder Adam Christoff had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Christoff was 2 for 5 with 2 home runs, even as Riverside beat the Navigators, 5-3. Christoff was named the player of the game despite the loss. The Poly bumped their record to 18-16 with this latest triumph.
Bill Groves, who is tied for 5th in the HAL in triples with 2, aided the Riverside cause with a 2-run single in the top of the second. For the game, the shortstop went 1 for 5. He drove in 2 runs.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Riverside manager Gary Corwin. "It's usually not just one thing."
