| Titans Lose, 12-5, at Oranges Ballpark | The Enterprise Hornets topped the Carl Albert Titans, 12-5, in Hank Aaron League action at Oranges Ballpark. The player of the game was Enterprise designated hitter Corey Nunez. Josh Ferreri got the win, improving to 4-2. He pitched 7.1 innings, giving up 7 hits and 5 runs, while striking out 8 and walking 4. The save was Ken Rudolph's, his 7th.
Tejano Moreno put Enterprise in front, 4-1, when he took Steve Meyers downtown. His grand slam home run came with two out in the bottom of the second. It was his 5th home run of the season.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Nunez told the Enterprise Today.
The Hornets bumped their record to 18-15 with this latest triumph.
