The Norwich Navigators grabbed a 8-3 win over the Pleasantville Panthers at Stealth Ballpark. Norwich designated hitter Ichiyo Inaba hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice to earn player of the game honors. Lu-po-teh Men got the win, improving to 2-1. He pitched 7.1 innings, giving up 6 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 6 and walking 7. The 5th-place Navigators now have a 4-game winning streak.

Justin Zangla aided the Norwich cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth. For the game, the third baseman was 1 for 3 with a walk.

"Been a rough stretch for us," said Pleasantville manager Xavier Chávez.
