| Buckner Jr. Hits 2 home runs in Warhawks Win | The Seminole Warhawks topped the Kearny High Cardinals, 7-4, in Hank Aaron League action at Attack Ballpark. The player of the game was Seminole first baseman Bill Buckner Jr.. At 20-10, the Warhawks have a slim two-game lead in the Hank Aaron League Willie Mays Division.
Seminole took a 7-4 lead on Jay Peterson's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Kearny High pitcher Sean Picard in the bottom of the seventh.
Peterson expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
