| Navigators Turn Back Enterprise, 5-4 | The rain could not keep the Chickenhawks Stadium crowd from enjoying a good ballgame.
The Norwich Navigators topped the Enterprise Hornets, 5-4, in Hank Aaron League action at Chickenhawks Stadium. The player of the game was Norwich pitcher Bob Gregg. Chris Sea, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 5th save.
The Navigators got a big at-bat from right fielder Micah Willard. For the game, Willard went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 12th home run of the season gave Norwich a 2-0 lead.
"I was a little disappointed," said Enterprise manager Yassin Flament. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
The last-place Navigators now have a win-loss record of 12-18.
