| Golden Bears Walk It Off for 18th Win of Season | It was a good time at Guadalajara HS Grounds, where fans came to watch the Tenafly Tigers and Billings West Golden Bears get after it.
The Billings West Golden Bears bested the Tenafly Tigers, 3-2, at Guadalajara HS Grounds. Rich Bigelow was named player of the game. He was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs. The win was credited to Greg Rose in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Gil Pund took the loss.
Bigelow had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the tenth. On a first pitch fastball from Gil Pund, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Golden Bears a 3-2 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Bigelow.
"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Bigelow said.
