| Mustangs Walk It Off for 15th Win of Season | The Downsview Mustangs bested the Lerna Lions by a score of 6-5, with catcher Rich Basler getting the main credit. On the day, Basler was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs for the Mustangs. The Mustangs bumped their record to 15-13 with this latest triumph.
The Mustangs got a big at-bat from second baseman Manny Monroy. For the game, Monroy was 2-6 with 2 singles. In the bottom of the tenth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 36th hit of the season gave Downsview a 6-5 lead.
