| Black Knights Lose, 6-4, at Sin City Stadium | Las Vegas played host to Brooklyn at the friendly confines of Sin City Stadium.
The Las Vegas Aces picked up a win at Sin City Stadium, knocking off the Brooklyn Black Knights, 6-4. On the mound for Las Vegas was left-hander Chris Burgess, who played a pivotal role in the win. Burgess went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 0, and struck out 2. His record improves to 3-6. Chata Jamaot notched his 14th save in 16 chances.
The Aces got a big at-bat from center fielder Callum Mannion. For the game, Mannion was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 15th home run of the season gave Las Vegas a 6-2 lead.
Mannion called winning a team effort. "It's not the same guy every time," he said. "It's the sum of the parts."
Las Vegas currently is in 4th place in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division at 38-44.
