Chunichi played host to Hanshin at the friendly confines of Ballpark of Nakashibetsu College.

Chunichi first baseman Jimmy Holmes had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Hanshin Tigers, 9-5. Getting the save was Oscar Alatorre, his 3rd.

Holmes had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the first inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Dragons went on to win.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Holmes.

The Dragons bumped their record to 27-26 with this latest triumph.
