| Dragons Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Carp | Chunichi right-hander Zach Hobbs pitched his team to victory over the Hiroshima Toyo Carp at Ballpark of Nakashibetsu College. The final score was 6-3. Yuuchi Kimura picked up the save, his 3rd. The Dragons bumped their record to 21-21 with this latest triumph.
Mike Johnson, who is tied for 6th in the CL in bases on balls with 30, contributed to the Chunichi win with a solo home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in.
