Victory Pushes Carp Record to 12-10

The Tokyo Yakult Swallows got a superb performance from right fielder Hiroyuki Kikuchi. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Hiroshima Toyo. The Carp won the game, 10-7. In spite of the loss, Kikuchi was named the player of the game. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The Carp bumped their record to 12-10 with this latest triumph.
