| Giants Walk It Off for 6th Win of Season | Yomiuri designated hitter Dustin Meek was a significant contributor in his team's 5-4 triumph over the Chunichi Dragons. He hit 2 home runs for Yomiuri. Yomiuri now sits at 6-7, while Chunichi falls to 9-4.
Meek had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a 3-1 fastball from Eric Shaner, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Giants a 5-4 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Meek.
"We're all smiles after that win," Meek told the Yomiuri Herald.
