| Dragons Bang Out 11-3 Win Versus Hiroshima Toyo | Chunichi second baseman Yuuji Mochizuki had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 11-3 win over the Hiroshima Toyo Carp. Chunichi starter Lou Butt was credited with the win after throwing 84 pitches over 5.1 innings. His record now stands at 2-0. At 8-3, the Dragons have played well so far.
The Dragons got a big at-bat from center fielder Eita Yamashiro. For the game, Yamashiro went 1 for 3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 6th double of the season gave Chunichi a 3-2 lead.
