| Bay Stars Rally For Late Win Over Tigers | A 4-RBI performance from Ryu Kamimura helped the Yokohama Bay Stars beat the Hanshin Tigers, 8-6. The Tigers drop to 5-6 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2038 season.
Kamimura had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a 1-0 slider from Arihito Nakamura, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Bay Stars a 8-6 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Kamimura.
Kamimura told a Yokohama Daily News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
