Bay Stars Continue Skid Thanks to McArthur, Giants

In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.

Ryan McArthur made an impact in the 13-5 Yomiuri win over Yokohama. McArthur hit 2 home runs. He drove in 8 runs and scored twice. Raul Hipolito, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 5 innings.

McArthur contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Yomiuri in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 4-2, McArthur took a fastball from Tim Johnson and stroked the home run to left. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Giants to leap in front, 6-4.

"We'll enjoy this win," said McArthur. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
