Dragons Prevail, 3-1, Over Yokohama

The Chunichi Dragons got a good effort from starter Kasey Doherty in defeating the Yokohama Bay Stars at Ballpark of Nakashibetsu College. The final score was 3-1. The Dragons, now 2-0, have been on a roll in the early going.

Eita Yamashiro, who is the top prospect in the Dragons organization, aided the Chunichi cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the second. For the game, the center fielder went 1 for 2 with 2 walks.

Yamashiro told a Chunichi Daily News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
