The final score had ORIX getting past the Marines, 5-1. Harris went 6 innings and allowed no earned runs, striking out 7. Travis Waycaster locked down his 15th save. ORIX is now 29-22, 2 games up in the Pacific Division.
Masanao Inoue, who is tied for 7th in the PL in stolen bases with 8, aided the ORIX cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the seventh. For the game, the third baseman drew 1 walk in 5 trips to the plate.
