| Hops Stymie Georgia, Take 5-1 Win | The Georgia Grays and San Diego Hops were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd at The Death Star.
San Diego Hops starter Landy Lu pitched a strong game against the Georgia Grays at The Death Star, leading the Hops to a 5-1 win. The 4th-place Hops now have a win-loss record of 38-43.
The Hops got a big at-bat from third baseman Ruberto Sucena. For the game, Sucena went 3-4 with 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. In the top of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 59th hit of the season gave San Diego a 1-0 lead.
