| Dickson Leads Buffaloes to Win over Lions | The ORIX Buffaloes defeated the Saitama Seibu Lions, 8-1, at Sea Hawks Stadium. ORIX third baseman Justin Dickson was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 4-4 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. ORIX goes to 27-20. The win puts them 2 games up in their division.
Dickson had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a run-scoring double. The Buffaloes went on to win.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Dickson said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
