| Buffaloes Bridle Fighters, 4-2 | ORIX starter Hachemon Hitomi pitched effectively against the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters at Sea Hawks Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a 4-2 win. ORIX reliever Jeff Malone was the winner. His record is now 1-1. Will Wence took the loss. The Buffaloes bumped their record to 25-19 with this latest triumph.
The Buffaloes got a big at-bat from designated hitter Kaleb Giordano. For the game, Giordano was 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 20th hit of the season gave ORIX a 4-2 lead.
