| Marines Win at Fukuoka SoftBank, 3-1 | Chiba Lotte right-hander Branden Dulin made an effective start against the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks at Ballpark of Aomori College, leading his team to a 3-1 win. Chuji Osaki was credited with the save for Chiba Lotte, his 1st of the season. The Marines bumped their record to 17-16 with this latest triumph.
Yosaburo Oka aided the Chiba Lotte cause with a solo home run in the top of the seventh. For the game, the catcher was 1-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Dulin told the Chiba Lotte Citizen.
