| Wyke goes 3-for-3 in Fighters Win | Jaylin Wyke left his imprint on the 9-3 Hokkaido Nippon-Ham win against the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles. Wyke, who is tied for 7th in the PL in triples with 1, was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The Fighters bumped their record to 18-15 with this latest triumph.
Dylan Hunter drew 1 walk for Hokkaido Nippon-Ham. The 23-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the eighth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring walk off Yozaburo Yagi. It was his 21st walk of the season.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Hunter told the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Gazette.
