| 5-3 Win by Tornadoes Continues Hot Start | Kansas City Tornadoes starter J.G. Richard pitched a strong game against the Mile High Mustangs at McNichols Stadium, leading the Tornadoes to a 5-3 win. The save was credited to Nate Miller, his 3rd. Kansas City, at 7-1, is off to a blistering start.
Antonio Santana aided the Kansas City cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth. For the game, the catcher was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
