| Hawks Prevail, 7-5, Over Saitama Seibu | Joe Hull made an impact in the 7-5 Fukuoka SoftBank win over Saitama Seibu. Hull, who is rated as the 77th best prospect by BNN, was 2 for 4 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The win was Vince Oler's in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Hull had a game-changing double in the top of the seventh. On a first pitch cutter from Randy Mawhirter, he banged a 2-run double to left, giving the Hawks a 5-3 lead. It was the 2nd double of the year for Hull.
