| Multi-HR Game for Prater in 9-2 Win | The ORIX Buffaloes knocked off the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles, 9-2, at Sailboats Ballpark. Marc Prater, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason ORIX won. The designated hitter slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. The Golden Eagles fall to 5-7 and continue their wobbly start to the 2038 season.
The Buffaloes got a big at-bat from center fielder Tsunemi Jimbo. For the game, Jimbo was 1-3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave ORIX a 2-0 lead.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Jimbo told the ORIX Today.
