Muller Hits 2 home runs in Republic Win

So Cal left fielder Walt Muller made his presence felt in the 6-2 Republic triumph over the Bloomington Blazers. Muller belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Oscar Mata earned the win for So Cal. He lasted 7 innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 4 hits, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 7-3. The Republic have an impressive 51-29 record.

Muller had a big at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the top of the seventh inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Republic went on to win.
