Tigers Bang Out 8-4 Win Versus Tioga Central

It was a good time at Ballpark of León HS, where fans came to watch the Tioga Central Tigers and Tenafly Tigers get after it.

The Tenafly Tigers defeated the Tioga Central Tigers, 8-4. Earning player of the game honors was shortstop Mike Warren, who was 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Gil Pund earned the save, his 5th.

Aaron Peta aided the Tenafly cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the third baseman was 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"We'll build on this win," said Warren.

At 9-14, the Tigers are currently last in the Pete Rose League Alex Rodriguez Division.
