Matsumoto Hits 2 home runs in Sasquatch Win

A 5-RBI performance from catcher Kiyoji Matsumoto, who is tied for 9th in the RCL with a .511 slugging percentage, led the Seattle Sasquatch to a 5-3 win over the Cabo San Lucas Toreros. The Sasquatch have an impressive 49-29 record.

Matsumoto had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 0-2 changeup from Ryan Goldberg, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Sasquatch a 5-2 lead. It was the 18th home run of the year for Matsumoto.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Seattle manager Bob Miller.
