| Navigators Rally to Eke Out Win | Fans at Chickenhawks Stadium were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Norwich Navigators take on the Carl Albert Titans.
Behind a solid performance from shortstop Kyle Todd, the Norwich Navigators defeated the Carl Albert Titans, 5-4. Todd went 4-6 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times for the Navigators. The Navigators bumped their record to 11-11 with this latest triumph.
Todd had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the 13th. On a 1-2 fastball from John Locke, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the Navigators a 5-4 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Todd.
"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Todd told the Norwich Times.
