| Panthers Get Close Win Over Patriots | The Panthers grabbed a win, 6-4, at Stealth Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Francis Lewis pitcher Mike Walsh. Walsh went 7 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Chad Legge got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 0.2 innings. Even with the win, the Panthers have a dismal 5-16 record.
Tom Narog drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances for Pleasantville. The 15-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Steve Sobecki. It was his 12th walk of the season.
