| Extra-Inning Win by Mustangs over Hops | The Mustangs grabbed a win, 2-1, at The Brew Stade, overcoming a fine effort from San Diego pitcher Gohta Yamashiro. Yamashiro went 7 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Mile High reliever Matt Rogers was credited with the win, to go to 3-0. Ids Haasjes took the loss for San Diego. Don Myers notched his 1st save in 2 chances.
Jesús García had a nice at-bat for the Mustangs with no one out in the top of the 11th. With the bases empty, the second baseman drew a walk, which would prove important in the Mile High win.
"We'll enjoy this win," said García. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
Mile High occupies 5th place in the Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division at 34-45.
