Multi-HR Game for Modglin in 9-2 Win

The Francis Lewis Patriots stopped the Pitman High Panthers, 9-2, at Batfish Ballpark. The Patriots got a big game from Cody Modglin, who slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5. The Patriots bumped their record to 11-8 with this latest triumph.

When the Patriots needed a boost, it was the light-hitting Modglin who delivered. Facing Pitman High pitcher John Keeton the top of the third with a runner on 1st, Modglin hit his 10th home run of the year. It made the score 3-0.

"I felt good up there," said Modglin. "I saw the ball well."
