| Warhawks Stymie Montreal, Take 1-0 Win | Seminole got a first-rate effort from pitcher Adam Tomek, who frustrated Montreal hitters en route to a 1-0 Warhawks triumph at Attack Ballpark. Yin-tou Lan recorded the save for Seminole, his 5th of the season. The Warhawks, at 13-6, lead by one game in their division.
The Warhawks got a big at-bat from second baseman Jay Peterson. For the game, Peterson went 1-4. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 15th hit of the season gave Seminole a 1-0 lead.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Montreal manager Hector Corretjer. "The effort was great."
