The Seattle Sasquatch eked out a 5-4 win versus the Eureka Hornets at Sick's Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Shuichi Imai, who captured player of the game honors. Seattle reliever C.J. Harnack was credited with the win, to go to 4-2. Alexis Zepeda took the loss for Eureka. The Sasquatch have an impressive 48-29 record.

Had Francisco Valdéz not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Valdéz hit a 2-run home run. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Sasquatch.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Valdéz.
