| Hornets Stay Hot, Beat Chargers | The Enterprise Hornets got a stellar performance from pitcher Corey Willis, who handcuffed the Topeka West offense en route to a 6-2 win at Oranges Ballpark. The save was credited to Ryan Hatch, his 1st. The third-place Hornets have won 5 in a row.
The Hornets got a big at-bat from catcher Scott DeRoin. For the game, DeRoin went 2-5 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 22nd hit of the season gave Enterprise a 3-1 lead.
