In a tight game between the Norwich Navigators and the Billings West Golden Bears, pitcher Carl Yazstrzemski Jr. was terrific on the mound. The Norwich right-hander was named the player of the game in Norwich's 3-0 win. The Navigators now have a record of 8-10 with the win over Billings West.

Yazstrzemski Jr. made it look effortless. He scattered no hits over 5.2 innings, while racking up 8 strikeouts. The Norwich right-hander encountered little resistance from the Billings West hitters. His season record is now 2-2.
