| Cabo San Lucas Loses, 7-4, Despite Simmon Performance | The Hawaii Islanders overcame a good performance by Cabo San Lucas first baseman Terry Simmon to knock off Cabo San Lucas, 7-4, at Aloha Stadium. Simmon belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Hawaii, now 32-44, holds last place in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.
Manuel Guzmán aided the Hawaii cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the second. For the game, the second baseman went 1 for 4 with a double.
