| Victory Over Golden Bears Takes Santa Clara to 9-5 | The Santa Clara Vampires defeated the Billings West Golden Bears, 4-3, in Pete Rose League action at Guadalajara HS Grounds, with Santa Clara pitcher Danny Tankersley named player of the game. The save was Mike Holmes's, his 4th. The Vampires, at 9-5, lead by one game in their division.
