| Earle Excels, But Patriots Win | Ottawa HS Grounds was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Francis Lewis Patriots and the Downsview Mustangs.
Downsview left fielder Nick Earle had a good game, even if his team did not. The Mustangs dropped a 6-5 decision to Francis Lewis at Ottawa HS Grounds. Earle was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Alan McEachern was called on to finish, recording his 1st save.
Mike Harper hit a run-scoring double off Ellis Spatola in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Patriots in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Harper had 1 single, while going 2 for 3.
